SRK to undergo knee surgery on July 25

Shahrukh Khan has cancelled his plan of going abroad to operate his knee due to personal and professional reasons. Instead, he will undergo knee surgery in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital tentatively on July 25.
Dr. Ali Irani will be leading the medical team that will operate King Khan’s knee surgery.
“Dr Ali Irani will be leading the medical board (expected to be a team of nine doctors), who will take decisions regarding the surgery on Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh’s physiotherapy team will consist of three specialists, which will be led by Andrew Leipus as his chief physiotherapist. We are expecting him to recover in one month,” says a doctor.
Dr Ali Irani is a specialist in sports medicineis and also cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s personal medical consultant. He has performed Shahrukh’s shoulder surgery years back and it is doing fine.
“Ali Irani also led the team of doctors, who performed the operation on Shah Rukh’s shoulder. His shoulder is doing fine now. He decided to have him again to perform the knee surgery. Some of his muscle tendons and ligaments are beyond repair. We are taking a call on what the final corrective surgery procedure should be. It has not been decided yet,” informs the doctor.
